ELSA

A FILM INSPIRED BY TRUE EVENTS

Scroll Down Arrows

In 1940, Nazi forces invaded Norway, a neutral country.

Between 30 000 and 120 000 Norwegian women are thought to have had intimiate relationships with German soliders.

They were later branded 'Tyskertøser' or 'German Whores'. Their citizenship was removed and they were send to prison camps across Norway.

Upon their release, many were expelled from their country with their children.

ONE OF THESE WOMEN COULD HAVE BEEN

ELSA.
